Review/Publish already live objects
Up to Plone / CMF
I'm somewhat familiar with the process of reviewing and publishing new content to a site through the use of Workflow.
What I'm curious about, is how you apply the same process to content that is already live on the site. If you were to retract a page, then modify it for review, that object would not longer be available on the site.
Does Plone offer a way to submit changes to live content for review, without actually retracting the document (or other object) from the site?
If not, has anyone figured out a workaround to this?

If the owner of the content is not a manager, they will have to retract it to edit it and re-submit it.

Jake, thanks for the reply.
Don't you think this is a shortcoming of Plone, to not be able to send an object that has already been published through the reviewing process again, without taking it down from the viewing public?
I'm wondering if there is kind of a hack to doing this, such as copying the object into a content editiors 'My Folder', then once they change it, a reviewer can check it and replace the live object with the modified one in 'My Folder'.
