Hi there guys

I would like my website to only be visible by people who have logged in.

This will mean i will need three user groups:

Admin - Full write + read access
User - Read access only
Guest - Can only view root (home) page

How would i set this up? Is this possible under plone? If someone could help or point me in the right direction i would much appreciate it.

Appeciation in advance, many thanks

Matt Phillips

P.s. URL is www.rise-network.org.uk

Everything that anonymous can view is controlled by the "view" permission in the ZMI under security. You can turn that off for things you don't want anonymous to be able to see and they will not be able to view it.

i have made a certain part of my site require a log on (/rise01) but only this page has restricted access, all the sub folders beneath this one can still be viewed without any login required, is there a quick way i can make all of the folders beneath a certain folder (/rise01) require a login to view? cheers

For any content under that if the "Acquire permission settings?" is checked, it should have the same permissions.

So, if you were to have a folder "Example/" and in it a bunch of folders, documents, images, as long as you had tje Acquire checked, everything within should have the same permissions.
