Will Zope version X work with Python version Y?
What I have found is that while there is one "supported" Python version for every Zope release, you can always try another Python version and see if it works for you.
Just install Zope with the Python of your choice and put it through some tests (Apache Bench, importing exporting, an old Data.fs) running in debug mode and see how it does. Most problems will arise quickly and be pretty easy to see.
