Zope, like any other application, takes some practice, some learning and a bunch of patience.

The first thing to do is to get your feet wet in the great pool of Zope. There are a some Zope hosting companies (linked below) that can get you started.

The second thing to do is join the mailing lists (zope@zope.org). This is where help can be found if you are stumbling. Read through the archives, lurk for awhile and see if there are answers to your questions before sending them out.

The third thing to do is just play. Build stuff. Write DTML and ZPT scripts. Try to show the date on all pages. Figure out the power of templates and standard_html_header and standard_html_footer.

Lastly, come back to the Zone (Zope Zone) and post in the forums, lets us know what you have learned.
