Zope.org Releases Zope 2.6.2
The releases just keep on coming. Zope.org just released the brand spanking new Zope 2.6.2 . Get your source, get your zip and get going. ZopeZone.com installed it this morning but has to run it through some tests this weekend before we move all the sites over.
Zope Zone Moves to Zope 2.6.2 and CMF 1.4.1
A week or so of testing and it all looks good so we moved from Zope 2.6.2b5 to Zope 2.6.2 and CMF 1.4.1.

Server Watch Reviews Zope
Server Watch has a full review of Zope (although I couldn't find what version they were playing with). Not a ton there, but they hit on the basics.
Zope 2.6.3 Released
Another bump in the Zope world as it gets bumped up to Zope 2.6.3 which is also a security release. Download, install and enjoy.

An article over at the Innovations Report talks about parks in Europe using Zope as a back end to a 3D mapping software.

Computers Associates (CA), Zope & Plone
In a press release yesterday CA announced that they are integrating and support Zope & Plone as part of their Ingres content management system. This is another huge step for Zope & Plone becoming big name players in the CM space.

In other great news, the new Plone Foundation has been created to help organize, promote and support Plone in a much more formal way. Plone has become the shining star in the world of Zope.

The amount of Zope websites grew over 27% from 2005 according to the January 2006 Netcraft Webserver Survey.

Zope 2.10.0 beta 1 and Plone 2.5 Releases
